What a beautiful weekend!

We had a GREAT weekend. On Friday, daddy went to see the Rice University baseball game with Jonathan....so the kids and I played on the Rainbow System until 6 pm. The kids took a bath in mommy and daddy's bathtub for the FIRST time and they both LOVED it! Afterwards, mommy was too tired, so we headed up to Whataburger so I could get a fish sandwich, Conor wanted chicken strips, and well...Caitlin got a little burger.

They did great and we sat down and watched a little TV after dinner and both of them went to bed around 7:45pm. A great night to relax.

Saturday we went over to my friend's house to celebrate her husband's birthday. It was a fabulous day for a Crawfish Boil. The kids LOVE to go to these and play with the crawfish. Conor played with his PL buddy that he missed and Caitlin wanted to play with the boys until her other buddy woke up from his nap. They were cute playing in the ice chest.

That was a long afternoon with the sun beating down and the kids playing. We went home and played some more outside...then it got windy and chilly. (urgh!)

Sunday was WINDY all day long, the temperature was up and down it seemed, but we attempted to fly a kite in the front yard. ATTEMPTED. I got $1 kites for the kids to see what we could do and they had a blast TRYING to fly the darn things. Next time I will buy better ones and go to the park.
